SYNOPSIS

Emma Hughes thought she had life under control, even while reeling from a recent unexpected
break up. As the upbeat, delightfully corny yet dedicated marketing/events manager at Pembroke

Hills Golf Club, she prefers organizing dream weddings for others and snuggling at home with her
rescue yorkie, Reggie, to risking her heart again. But when Connor Davis, a now-famous pro golfer
and her high school crush, returns to town for his sister's wedding, Emma finds herself in a
quandary about her unresolved feelings.

Connor is used to trophies and tabloids-being the longtime boyfriend of Vanessa Van Miles, a
gorgeous movie star. But being back at Pembroke Hills Golf Club, where it all began for him,
reminds him of what really matters-especially when he sees how Emma has brought deeper
purpose to her role as marketing manager of the club by launching CityKids Camp, a week-long golf

Story Overview

Emma Hughes has been in love with golfer Connor Davis since they were teens at their hometown golf club. Years later, a newly single and independent Emma is the club’s events manager and founder of a youth golf camp, “CityKids Camp,” when Connor returns home as a famous pro, apparently unavailable and dating a celebrity. As old feelings resurface, misunderstandings and near-misses keep them apart, even as they grow closer while saving Emma’s camp. When Connor ultimately chooses his hometown over the tour, both must finally confront the love they’ve been avoiding for years.
