
Founder Bio — Pamela Murphy
An accomplished film and television producer whose career spans
studio, network, international, and independent production. Known for her keen story instincts and talent for shaping emotionally resonant, character-driven work, Pamela has built Jacaranda Road Productions as a home for cinematic storytelling with genuine heart.
Pamela’s work with Michael Douglas’s production companies marked a pivotal chapter in her career, where she developed a deep foundation in story and craft while helping build and lead the Story Department. She later served as Vice President of Development for Hallmark Entertainment, guiding a broad slate of films and series. More recently, she executive produced the 2024 Hallmark Mysteries film Under the Christmas Lights, shot on Vancouver Island.
Her international experience includes co-founding Sirocco Films—based in Los Angeles and Paris—where she co-produced documentary films, as well as scripted projects for France Télévisions and France 2, which continue to distribute globally. Across every chapter of her career, Pamela has championed meaningful, emotionally grounded storytelling.
With Jacaranda Road Productions, she continues that mission,
developing independent films and television series that blend craft, humanity, and cinematic appeal for audiences around the world.
