DEEP-DISH MYSTERIES
Macmillan-Minotaur Publisher
The Deep-Dish Mysteryseries, is based on Mindy Quigley’s bestselling books from Macmillan-Minotaur. Five out of six novels have been published, with an ever-expanding fanbase. The publisher just extended Quigley’s contract for six more. The tone is Only Murders in the Building meets a sassier, sexier Murder, She Baked—witty, female-forward, and irresistibly bingeable.
About the series: Set in the picturesque, upscale lakeside town of Geneva Lake, Wisconsin, the stories follow fiery gourmet pizza chef Delilah O’Leary, whose knack for solving murders rivals her flair in the kitchen. Each mystery is tied to a local festival, culinary competition, or small-town scandal —blending humor, heart, and a sprinkle of old Chicago mob lore (with Detective Calvin Capone, her flirtatious love interest and a descendant of that Capone). Her quirky aunt and colorful staff each bring their own backstories and dynamics, making for a fun, emotional ride. And, of course, there’s the proverbial "cozy cat" Butterball. The books even feature tested recipes, offering natural tie-in and outreach opportunities.

Sleep In Heavenly Pizza
Deep-dish pizza chef and restaurateur, Delilah O’Leary, is ready to dish out holiday cheer as Geneva Bay, Wisconsin, plays host to the nation’s top snow sculpting championship. The cozy lakeside town transforms into a wintry wonderland of sparkling sculptures, outdoor skating, and endless cocoa refills.
Catering an upscale Chrismukkah party should be the icing on the cake—but Delilah’s festive plans take a dark turn when a snow sculpture reveals a chilling surprise: a frozen corpse buried inside one of the frosty masterpieces.
With the town in shock and the festival in jeopardy, Delilah teams up with her sous chef bestie, Sonya Dokter, and sexy detective Calvin Capone, great-grandson of the legendary Chicago gangster.
With her bustling new restaurant in overdrive, and surprise visits from emotionally complicated family members (some of whom become suspects), Delilah has her hands full. Armed with her sharp instincts, her chubby cat Butterball, and her sassy great-Aunt Biz, Delilah dives into the mystery.
The suspect list grows longer than her holiday menu, and she’ll need a sprinkle of luck—and a heaping dose of sleuthing— to catch the killer before the wrong person takes the fall.
