Brought aboard an oil research vessel to help locate drill sights, powerful psychic, Jamie Hastings, makes eerie contact with a pod of Humpback whales, who almost capsize the ship in an effort to communicate a secret that will change the future of mankind. Now, she must convince the captain that it’s one minute to midnight, and whales in the ocean are guiding her to save Earth from an imminent apocalypse.
Synopsis
The Emissary is the story of a renowned psychic visionary, JAMIE HASTINGS, who works with police and corporations, using her acute paranormal skills to help them locate what they can’t find on their own – like serial killers, and buried crude. She’s the best there is at what she does, but burn-out from those endless high-stress assignments sends her to vacation indefinitely in New Zealand, as far away as she can get from the rat race. There, unfortunately, a gripping disaster – marked by eerie electromagnetic pulses and strange clouds overhead – finds her in the middle of a horrific beaching event of more than a hundred whales and dolphins … dead and dying on the resort’s private sands. One whale in particular, a pregnant female, touches her soul… and Jamie stays with her, on a beach filled with death and suffering, until the great whale breathes her last breath, etching her spirit onto Jamie’s heart forever. The heartbreaking experience sets Jamie on a course to redirect all her energies to saving the whales against the effect of sonar, pollution, and disruption of the seas, and she returns back to her home, San Francisco, with renewed passion and a clear mission.
